Develop a Topic
A lot has been written about HIV/AIDS, so it will very important to begin by narrowing your topic to a realistic level. By searching Google or some encyclopedias you may be able to quickly identify a precise aspect of HIV/AIDS that interests you. This will also provide the terms or "keywords" you must have to search for books and articles.
EXAMPLE:
AIDS and AFRICA = 500,000 articles (too much)
AIDS and AFRICA and GOVERNMENT POLICY - 250 articles (good)
Once you have narrowed your topic and have the terms or keywords you can search the library catalog (URSUS) for books and our databases for articles.
