Senior Seminar
This interdisciplinary capstone course is the fourth-tier writing instruction course that that brings students’ general education experience to culmination. Students produce a senior thesis which integrates one or more of the general education themes (e.g., democracy, sustainability, justice or difference) with study in their major. They also give a public presentation (oral defense?) of their thesis. The course links to co-curricular activities related to One Book, One College in that students lead seminar discussions of selected texts.
Note: this is an Information Literacy-intensive course.
