Ethnologue
"An encyclopedic reference work cataloging all of the world's 6,912 known living languages".

Linguistlist
Hosted by Eastern Michigan University and maintained by linguistics professors and graduate students, the LINGUIST List is "dedicated to providing... the discipline of linguistics with the infrastructure necessary to function in the digital world".

National Association for the Deaf
An advocacy organization, NAD provides legal information and news from a deaf perspective.
