Making the Poster

The GIS Lab is a really great place to find out information about making posters.  Talk to Vinton Valentine, Michelle Tranes, or your instructor for specifics.

How best to get started

Because of the technical nature of this science, an excellent way to get started with a project in GIS is to contact Michelle Tranes or Vinton Valentine in the GIS Lab!  The GIS lab provides students wide-screen computers and various software products for manipulating images and maps!  The lab also includes a color printer and a special poster printer for projects.  Contact Michelle Tranes at 780-5063 and Vinton Valentine at 228-8455.
