If you're taking an off-campus class through USM this site is designed for you. Distance education students are required to be provided with the same level of information access as on-campus students.

This site is designed to serve as the portal for instruction concerning how to effectively locate the books, articles and other materials they need.

USM's off-campus classes are provided in various ways, including...

• Entirely online via Blackboard or they may be "blended" meaning that some class time is required on-campus.
• Through the online whiteboard system, Elluminate
• Through LibGuides, which serves as a class portal to support a live or Blackboard-based class.
• Through in-person instruction at another location, such as University College: Saco, Brunswick, or Sanford
• Early Study classes offered to qualified high school students, usually at the high school.
• Foreign country courses
