Welcome!

Every agency and department of the government publishes - in print and/or online - information which is then provided through the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP).

USM is a selective depository of print and online federal documents.  UMaine - Orono is a full regional depository and provides access to print documents for the state.

While most U.S. government documents were made available online during the past ten years, many have been removed by the current administration, so if you can't find the item you need online, it may be available in print form.

Also keep in mind that the Catalog of U.S. Government Publications provides access to all online documents and websites and provides a record for all print materials.

The tabs at the top of this page serve to organize resources in a convenient, understandable way. We welcome your comments and suggestions.
